Our Story

A Retired Couple, One Beautiful View

We're in our 60s, and our vacation home in Arroyo Grande sits at the top of a private drive with a view of the hills we never get tired of. We prepared it with all the amenities we love ourselves, and we do most of the cleaning and maintenance ourselves too. Our goal is simple: we want you to be spoiled so you come back again.

Your Group, Your Home, Your Stay

Whatever you book is for your group only. Kitchens are stocked down to the spices and coffee beans, and main house stays come with a treat basket and local wines. Outside: fire tables, heaters, a hot tub, and gas and pellet BBQs. Inside: family games and a ping pong table. If anything's missing or not working, tell us. We want to hear it.

Flexible Stays for Every Group

Book just the downstairs for up to 8, the main home without the master suite for up to 12, or the whole main home for up to 16. The second home sleeps 6, or book everything together for a big group. We're 3 miles from the beaches and walking distance from The Village.

Easy arrival

Every home has smart lock check-in. Look for our sign and come up the driveway to the top of the hill. There's parking in front of the homes and in the garages, and we share a recommended layout so everyone has room to maneuver. A car is handy unless you're just heading to The Village.

Close by When You Need Us

We're about 15 minutes away and reachable by phone or text anytime. For ideas: the James Way trail 2 miles from the house, Shell Beach and Pismo Preserve trails, Dinosaur Caves park, and the Monarch Grove butterfly sanctuary. Local wineries, kayak tours, surfing, farmers markets, and the Avila Valley Barn are all close too.
